Owners felt it was time to increase the size of the living area to allow for their ever expanding family and to fully capture the views over the Bay. Increasing the size of the deck and living space also gave the opportunity to reimage the façade of the property, moving it from a well maintained original to a stunning coastal home.
The build included demolishing the original front deck and the front of the home. Rebuilding the frame for the new design. Sourcing the beautiful sliding glass doors from a local supplier the could provide SlideMaster system. The beauty of this system is that the door sill is flush to allow for the inside and outside to flow without stepping over a door frame. Other requirements were to match in into the current timber flooring and source sustainable timbers for the decking and cladding.
